About Emily

Emily is the owner/head trainer of Elite Rhythm Eventing. ERE specializes in three-day eventing, but also services clients successfully showing in the Hunter divisions.

Emily is a native of Baton Rouge, and has 25 years’ experience in the industry. With a degree in Sports Business from LSU, her experience ranges from working for US Olympians to starting young horses with an emphasis on off the track Thoroughbreds. Emily is an active competitor and has competed through the Intermediate level in Eventing, Third Level dressage and 1.20 meter Jumpers. She regularly trains with Daniela Moguel and Boyd Martin to keep her skills sharp.

ERE offers full training, half training, and consignment board as well as lesson packages for horses not needing training rides.

In addition to lesson and training packages Emily is also a PEMF-certified practitioner and works side-by-side with Saddlery Solutions to ensure proper saddle fit. PEMF works on a cellular level to repair and replenish muscles. We start by working the horse’s entire body, focusing on eleven different muscle groups. Then we spend the rest of the session focusing on areas of particular soreness. Saddlery Solutions offers custom saddle fitting consultations and can help determine if the saddle fits or how to make the horse and rider more comfortable. These practices work together to help ensure a happy, athletic horse and rider.

Emily's Philosophy

Emily prides herself on every aspect of the horse and rider and their comfort. She has successfully taken students and horses all over the country to compete and have fun. She loves the sales aspect of the business as well, working hard to successfully match horses and riders for lasting and fruitful partnerships.
